Examples of Learning Objectives

Students are learning to take increasing responsibility for others’ safety by acting responsibly towards their peers.

Students learn how to share equipment and take turns when participating in simple physical education, school sport and physical activity (PESSPA) activities.

Students participate in very simple PESSPA activities that help them, for example, learn how to:

  • collect equipment in an orderly manner and only when asked to do so
  • stop promptly when asked
  • keep inside the boundaries set
  • be aware of what is happening around them
  • avoid collisions with others
  • avoid unnecessary ‘rough’ behaviour
