Examples of Learning Objectives

Students are learning to take increasing responsibility for following advice, rules and procedures (written or verbal) relating to safe practice.

Students learn to respond appropriately to safety commands when involved in physical education, school sport and physical activity (PESSPA) activities (eg ‘listen’, ‘look’, ‘stop’ and ‘go’ – red and green ‘traffic light’ symbols, written words, gestures, signals or verbal commands can be used).

Students gain a practical understanding of safety words associated with specific PESSPA activities/situations.
